Baldwin's Peacocks

The Arboretum's peafowl are descendants of birds brought to the grounds by Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin in the late 1800s when he owned the property. 

Our Curator of Historical collections, Mitchell Hearns Bishop, will explore the interest in peafowl during Baldwin's time and how peacocks came to be on his ranch. 

Talk is included with admission, reservations recommended, and seats are limited.  Please reserve seat.
