Welcome to the Los Angeles County Arboretum! We are located in Arcadia, California.

Ghoulish Gardens! 10/7 to 10/31

Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins! Join us for a fang-tastic time at the Arboretum throughout the month of October by exploring our Ghoulish Gardens path! You will receive a digital guide in your confirmation email along with your tickets.

Use your digital guide to learn about the spooky side of our boo-tiful garden as you wind through the paths on this self-guided tour. While engaging in a safe, self-guided exploration of our creepier collections, guests are invited to learn about trees that strangle other plants, the ingredients in common witches potions, flowers that are pollinated by bats, and other fun, eerie botanic facts while winding their way through the garden. Fun for adults and children alike, guests exploring Ghoulish Gardens on October 31st are encouraged to come wearing costumes!

Look for the scarecrows along the paths—They indicate a stop on the Ghoulish Gardens route!

  • Per CDC guidelines: Protective masks are required. Though costumes are encouraged, Halloween masks are not allowed.
  • The Ghoulish Gardens experience is included with admission.
